We’ve recently secured a venture capital round to help us expand worldwide. We are setting out a footprint in the USA, and we are hiring talent worldwide. That will bring requirements on IT – provisioning of HW to people, managing different systems to make our distributed workforce work efficiently, supporting multiple time zones, and ascertaining GDPR and ISO compliance.
We are looking for a colleague with the right experience and attitude to handle all of this as a single responsible person.

What will you do?

  • People leadership – IT talent attraction, retention, and expansion (feedback, personal growth)
  • Business operations – secure IT supports (effectivity and efficiency) our organization and growth with the right tools, processes, and resources.

What will be the main responsibilities of the IT team you will lead?

  • Design and operate infrastructure (e.g. VMs, k8s)
  • Personal devices – purchase HW, install operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac), troubleshoot
  • Manage and operate internal systems (e.g. Atlassian stack, Office 365, Gitlab)
  • Offices (multiple locations worldwide) – internet connectivity, internal network, teleconferencing devices, printers, etc.
  • Security – identity management, vulnerability management, audit, hardening, etc.
  • Manage relations with suppliers and vendors
  • Secure GDPR and ISO compliance

What technical skills will you need?

  • Windows desktop & windows domain management (+ o365)
  • Linux administration & networking (ISO/OSI, routing, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)
  • Security (vulnerability management, identity management, etc.)
  • Virtualization & cloud (AWS)
  • English proficiency (min C1)

What experience will you need?

  • IT manager in an international organization leading a team of people for at least two years

Who will you work with?

  • You will report directly to CFO Martin Zikmund
  • You will work with the current IT team, which will become the infrastructure division of the new IT dept
  • You will consult the roadmap with CTO Kryštof Hilar
