The Mission

As a Junior Data Analyst/Engineer at ThreatMark, your primary mission will be to support our data-driven decisions that enhance the quality and security of our products. You will play a vital role in analyzing trends, unearthing insights, and contributing to the overall success of our product development. By ensuring our data is precise and meaningful, you’ll enable our clients to achieve their business objectives with confidence, knowing they are backed by reliable and insightful data analysis. You will be a part of our Research Team among colleagues with ML/AI and Data Analysis expertise.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Build and maintain storage of structured and semi-structured data, ETL and data manipulation in DataLake.

  • Create meaningful datasets from source data.

  • Create and maintain data reports with qualitative and quantitative metrics.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis and provide insights and interpretations derived from the analysis.

  • Prototype new features to enhance our fraud detection capabilities.

  • Validate prototypes or solutions by correctly preparing experiments and measuring adequate statistical metrics.

  • Visualize metrics and results of data analysis in appropriate easy to read plots and tables.

 

Qualifications

Must have:

  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, relational database design (logical models), statistical metrics used in data analysis and ML (recall, precision, ROC AUC, …).

  • Familiarity with scikit-learn, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn/plotly.

  • Being able to communicate in English.

 

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with PySpark.

  • Experience with creating reports, data analysis tasks or Machine Learning.
