Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator who will be responsible for our internal infrastructure. You will cooperate with Martin and Jirka who take care of our environment at this moment.
What will your work look like?
Currently, this position is focused on the migration of internal systems from OpenStack to AWS environment. Our DNS, VPN (OpenVPN), Gitlab, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and LDAP/FreeIPA server were already migrated to AWS. We would like to continue with migrating the artifactory, HAProxy, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, and other systems.
Your tasks would be to design the architecture, write the Ansible roles, and Terraform for the services.
Aside from these long-term tasks, your work could also include helping our employees with IT problems (very rarely), tuning up the monitoring, backups, or scanning internal network and servers for vulnerabilities.
What should you know?
We expect that you have experience as a System administrator and have knowledge within the Linux platform. You will be working with Ansible, Terraform, and AWS tools, so, your experience with these tools is a big advantage. You should also know the basics of databases and networks. What is important is your knowledge of Czech and English. We are looking for a proactive person who is willing to learn new things and technologies.
