ThreatMark is frequently onboarding new customers and partners, which is why we’re looking for a Security Consultant to expand our Security and Fraud Operation Center.

What you´ll do?

You will be part of the team which hunts down cybercriminals and prevents them from stealing our clients’ money! This role will be customer-facing. It means that you will act as an advisory and escalations channel (responsibility for maintaining a relationship with our customers) and ensure the highest level of satisfaction with the services offered by ThreatMark. You will improve their knowledge of our product so that they can get the most out of it. If you like to show how good you are and share your experience, we would appreciate it if you could share your expertise through webinars or blogposts from time to time.

We are looking for a person passionate about IT, and namely IT security. You might be a security professional in the application or network field. If you are not afraid of speaking to customers (face to face or remote), explaining functionalities, helping to configure a product in the best way, you might be the one we’re looking for!

If you like coding, fraud prevention, reversing, if you feel full of energy and enthusiasm when you read about a new vulnerability, it is a plus for you.

What will your work look like?

This role builds and sustains a relationship as the primary customer contact and ensures the highest level of satisfaction with the services offered by the company, and even more:

  • Acts as an advisory and escalations channel
  • Monitors customer environment and continuously seeks improvement
  • Improves customer knowledge of the product
  • Helps the customer maintain a high level of IT security
  • Delivers consultations, advises customers
  • Provides support remotely or at customer‘s/partner‘s site
  • Provides security incident troubleshooting or problem analysis
  • Delivers in-house or on-site presentation, training; or webinars; creates blogposts
  • Creates technical documentation
  • Delivers basic internal training of communication and presentation skills to their colleagues

In general, soft skills must be very good, especially fluent English and Czech/Slovak (spoken and written), efficient reporting, evaluation and feedback, time & stress management, coaching/mentoring, etc.

What makes an ideal candidate?

You know the Security and the IT world very well. You love security incident troubleshooting or problem analysis. You are an extrovert, you love to be in touch with people, and your communication skills are excellent. You are fluent in English and Czech/Slovak (spoken and written). You are here for people, you are happy to advise everyone, and you don’t have a problem providing professional advice. You like to share your knowledge and experience, whether at training or through webinars.

Following things would increase the fit but are not mandatory

  • DevOps (Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform..)
  • Web security – top vulnerabilities (OWASP)
  • Programming in Python or any other language

Who will you work with?

You will join our current six-people-strong SOC team, among whom you can find  Luboš and Lukáš.  The SOC team closely works with all teams in ThreatMark, especially with customer care, developers, and testers. You might get in touch with our marketing and sales team and work on webinars or blog posts.
