ScamFlag Recognized as Finalist in European AI Awards 2025

ThreatMark’s ScamFlag has been shortlisted for the European AI Awards 2025, earning recognition in the category Best AI Application: Consumer/Customer Service. The nomination underscores ThreatMark’s innovative approach to tackling one of today’s most urgent banking challenges: scams.

ScamFlag is ThreatMark’s latest innovation in real-time scam prevention. Integrated directly into banking apps, this GenAI-powered solution allows customers to upload screenshots of suspicious messages, chats, or payment requests. Within seconds, ScamFlag determines whether the content is fraudulent, flags manipulative tactics, and delivers a plain-language explanation.

“Being shortlisted for the European AI Awards is a testament to both our team’s innovation and our mission to protect people from scams,”  said Michal Tresner, CEO and founder of ThreatMark. “It highlights how AI, when applied with purpose, can make a real impact on financial security and customer confidence.”

Celebrating AI Excellence Across Europe

Organized by Wolves Summit, the European AI Awards celebrate disruptive AI applications and leaders across various categories with companies shortlisted from across the continent.

The Awards process will culminate at the European AI Awards & Wolves Summit in Krakow. On October 29, a jury of nearly 50 AI experts—including corporate innovation directors, academics, and tech investors—will cast their final votes. On October 30, attendees will contribute to the popular vote, with winners announced at the evening Awards Gala.

“Beyond recognition, this nomination reflects growing confidence in ScamFlag as a trusted AI application for financial institutions,” added Michal Tresner.
